These are a few of my favorite {MOM} things! Part 1: a baby on the way…
Mom’ing these days is HARD- I know, I have three kids myself. I have noticed one of the hardest things when you are pregnant, is deciding which items are worth it and which items are just simply, not. I am here today to share with you a few of my favorite mom things that I have found particularly amazing and useful. I will also share some items that I have been told are amazing, but maybe didn’t get a chance to try out firsthand. Let me know if you have any questions about these items, I am always willing to help out moms and expecting moms!
Baby Shusher: because shhh’ing over and over for hours on end gets exhausting! I still use my baby shusher in the newborn studio, one my special tricks as a newborn photographer. CLICK HERE
Hatch Baby: again, because babies love sound, and especially white noise. White noise reminds baby of what their mother’s womb sounds like. I have two Hatch Baby machines, and use them for both my sons. They are so handy! They are perfect for infants up through toddlerhood and beyond. CLICK HERE
Sprayable diaper rash cream: quick and easy! There are other brands, but I have personally used this product for my son. CLICK HERE
Frieda nose sucker: babies get sick, it’s bound to happen. This little nose sucker is super handy, and much more efficient than a bulb sucker. Once you get the hang of it, your baby will thank you! Babies are nose breathers, they need a clear nasal passage so they can breathe and eat happily. CLICK HERE
Tripp trapp high chair: I bought this form my youngest, and absolutely am loving it so far. I chose this over the Ikea chair due to its ability to grow with my son. It’s so easy to clean too! CLICK HERE
With a little smaller price tag, the I know the IKEA high chair is also incredibly popular and well loved, if you do have that one, this food catcher looks pretty amazing! CLICK HEREHaaka: If you are planning to breastfeed, the Haaka is amazing! The Haaka really helped me to build up my freezer stash while on maternity leave. CLICK HERE
They also have these ladybug milk collectors that are a little more discreet and are great for more passively collecting milk: CLICK HEREAvent Baby Bottles: There are a lot of baby bottle options, and you might just need to let your baby choose, but I have loved Avent bottles with all 3 of my children. CLICK HERE
Skip, Hop, Jump Activity Center: I love this grow with baby activity center and have used it for two kids now. I love how it transitions to a table. I have seen it lovingly named “the baby forgetter” because your baby is so happy and quiet you might just forget where you put them! CLICK HERE
Silicone baby bibs: I love these because babies drop so much food and my son loves getting the food that falls into the pouch area. They are also so easy to clean! There are tons of brands, but these ones have super cute sayings on them, and ones without words too. CLICK HERE
Lovevery Toy Kits; These are hands down my favorite toys for my kids. I was skeptical at first, but the toys are well made, age appropriate, and always my children’s favorite. I highly recommend trying them! Here is a referral link from Lovevey for $20 off a kit CLICK HERE or here are some items listed on Amazon: CLICK HERE
Changing table: Particularly helpful for not only changing baby of course, but storing extra baby supplies. I personally have been using this one for 4+ years, and just transitioned it in our toy room to a toy holder/organizer. It’s been great! CLICK HERE
***BONUS***
Papaya reusable paper towels! Although there aren’t a “baby” item, they are really incredible! One sheet replaces 17 rolls of paper towels! They can be used for kitchen clean up, bathroom clean up, sticky baby hands and faces, highchairs, and just basically everywhere. They come with convenient little hooks to hang them all over your house. And, they look cute. Use code AMBERSARGENT for 15% off. GET THEM HERE
