Custom Framing

All of our framed matted prints include 100% cotton 8-Ply Museum Rag Board. For framed prints that do not include a mat, we use spacers to protect the print from humidity.

For interior frame backing we use Archival Foam Board featuring MicroChamber technology which absorbs and neutralizes harmful gases.

To finish off the frame we seal the back with Acid-free, buffered backing paper that won't puncture like craft paper. Then we place wall bumpers and Beehive Hanging Hardware on the back.

What does this all mean for you?

Your custom-framed print will be stunning, meticulously constructed, and last the test of time.

Mat & No Mat Options

With my custom framing you have 3 choices.

You can choose to have us frame your print without a mat or with a 2" or 4" mat border.

If you choose not to have a mat around your print, we will put spacers between the acrylic and the print so that the paper doesn't touch the acrylic.

Framed Matted Print

I recommend a 2" mat border for prints 16x20 and smaller.
I recommend a 4" mat border for prints 20x24 and larger.

Deckled Prints

If you are looking for a product that stands out, then Deckled Prints are what you want. Their hand-torn edges give a distinct and unique look. Deckling gives the paper a handmade appearance, which emphasizes the care and craft of our production process.

I offer Deckled Prints either with a border or without a border.  can float deckled prints in a mat as well as float them in a frame without a mat.

Circle Deckled Prints come in four sizes: 8”, 12”, 16”, and 20”

Standard Acrylic & Museum Acrylic

Standard Acrylic blocks 92% UV Light.

Museum Acrylic has a non-glare coating, blocks 99% UV Light, has an abrasion resistant coating to help prevent scratches and has an anti-static coating to reduce lint and dust.

In the examples we placed the framed print opposite of a window, which you never want to do, but we did for illustration purposes.

Notice how on the left the glare completely blocks the edge of the mat vs. the right you can see the edge of the window mat.

I recommend Museum Acrylic upgrade in all my framed prints to ensure you are getting the absolute best.
